Students are required to earn one and one-half physical education credits for graduation. Physical education, or symphonic band, color guard, winter guard, dance, TAPPS athletics, dance team, and cheerleading may be utilized to satisfy this requirement.

Team sports are offered on a competitive basis. Enrollment in any of these sports is subject to the coach's approval. Succcessful season completion of a Texas Athletic (TAPPS) sport may serve as a physical education credit. Team sports offered are:
