Spanish Honor Society

Club Name: Spanish Honor Society

Mission Statement: To promote the academic excellence of the Spanish language and celebrate Hispanic culture.

Meeting Place: A17; Mrs.Beltran's classroom

Meeting times: Generally after school; 3:30pm-4:15pm.

Meeting Days: Dates fluctuate; Spanish Honor Society meets about twice a month

Participation requirements:   - Cumulative GPA of 90 or higher (Subject to change)

-          Based on point system, each student must have a minimum of 25 points

-          Must have taken at least three years of Spanish Language classes

Service Component: This year, the Spanish Honor Society will have various community service opportunities that will involve their members more. 

Major Activities: Activities consist of the Induction and Ceremony for new members, participating in other school functions such as toy drives or Christmas angels, Day of the Dead celebrations, and the future activities already mentioned.

Club Dues: $10 per club member; seniors have additional dues for stoles.
