QuestBridge is please to announce the launch of the 2011 National College Match program, which helps qualifying students gain admission and full four-year scholarships to leading colleges. For further information be sure to see Mrs. Quarles in the guidance office. The application is available on www.questbridge.org  and is due on September 30.

Sallie Mae offers a free scholarship award database that contains over 3 million scholarships worth over $16 billion. It is expanded and updated daily. Register online at www.salliemae.com

St. Mary's Univ. (San Antonio) is offering graduates from a Marianist high school an additional $4200 Marianist Room Grant. This award will be awarded to students who receive a Trustee or President Scholarship.

www.college.gov provides relevant, comprehensive information about why to go, how to go, and how to pay for college.

Harvard University announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. If a family makes less than $60,000 a year and has an honor student graduating from high school, Harvard wants to pay the tuition. Visit Harvard's financial aid website at http://www.fao.fas.harvard.edu/ or call the school's financial aid office at 617-495-1581 for more information.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Stephen Breen Memorial Foundation would like to award a $5000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Nolan. The qualifications for receiving the scholarship can be found in the Guidance office.
